    SchrodingerZ writes: Nine days after Elon Musk hinted about a new project, Tesla Motors has unveiled the P85D Sedan. This is Tesla’s latest car design, capable of feats not yet seen in electric vehicles. The four door luxury car is able to go from zero to 60 miles per hour in a mere 3.2 seconds, an acceleration similar to the McLaren F1 super car.     adeelarshad82 writes “Acer officially announced its new Chromebook, C720. The C720 is 30% thinner (at 0.75 inches thick) and lighter (at 2.76 pounds) than Acer’s previous Chromebook, C7. The C720 Chromebook has an 11.6-inch anti-glare widescreen, with a 1,366-by-768 resolution. Acer claims seven second boot times and up to 8.5 hours of battery life.     An anonymous reader writes “Notch posted the official page of Mars Effect today, saying through Twitter, ‘it’s a completely different game! Our takes place in space, and focuses on characters, and lets you land on planets!!’ He gives more detailed on the new website, noting the game will be based around hard science fiction (think Star Trek sci-fi) and puts characters in control of a character rather than just a ship.     Apple once again streamed their latest keynote where they unveiled iLife ’11 (more fullscreen and Facebook in iPhoto, Audio editing and automatic trailers in iMovie, Rhythm correction and lessons in Garage Band). FaceTime for the Mac will connect video chat to phones with a Beta starting today. Next we get a preview of OS X Lion which will have an App Store and new UI bits shipping this summer.     LostCluster writes “For those in Comcast territory, a popular way to get around Comcast’s 250 GB monthly cap was to sign up for EarthLink Powered by Comcast Service, where there was no cap. Forget about that…. Earthlink just posted an FAQ explaining that Comcast will enforce the cap against Earthlink customers starting July 1.”
