    Jimmy Fallon Hosts the 2010 Emmy AwardsTonight will be the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards show. The show will take place at 8pm EST from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, and be broadcast live on NBC. It is the very first time that the Awards show will be seen live from the East coast to the West Coast. The Emmys will be hosted by Late Night Host Jimmy Fallon, and are a bit earlier in the year this year than normal.

  • New and Old Experiments Combine To Help the Search For Life On Mars

    jamie sends in a story about an unexpected finding by the Phoenix Mars Lander which has shed new light on experiments done by the Viking landers back in 1976. The Viking experiments found traces of chlorine compounds that were interpreted to be the result of contamination from cleaning fluids on Earth.     If there is a Roger Clemens trial, it could be a family affair for Andy Pettitte, the New York Post reported Saturday. The Yankees pitcher is considered to be a key witness against Clemens, but he should expect to be joined by his wife, Laura, on the witness stand.

  • Facebook Post Juror Gets Fined, Removed, Assigned Homework

    eldavojohn writes “A Michigan judge removed a juror after a Facebook comment and also fined her $250 and required her to write a five-page paper about the constitutional right to a fair trial. The juror was ‘very sorry’ and the judge chastised her, saying, ‘You violated your oath. You had decided she was already guilty without hearing the other side.’”
